Name: Astrid D'arque (stole the name from my Ben 10 fanfic, Rogue Alien)

Likes: Music, Batman, Criss Angel, layers of clothing, accessories for outfits, acting high and mighty, disturbing humans/playing with her food
Dislikes: Romance, reading, socialization, food that fights back, people who put her in her place, the police
Bio: Born and raised to the age of 15 in France. She left her family to study abroad in the United States. Her parents wired her money to help her support herself. After a year, she told them she'd be staying in the U.S.. Her parents accepted the decision after much arguing, but they knew Astrid's strong personality would help her. They refused to stop sending her money though. Astrid moved on to college and started her first real relationship. That man was the vampire who changed her, and then he left her to figure out her new life by herself. She swore vengeance on him. After three years of laying low and experimenting with her new body, she still has a lot to learn (though she'll never admit that). But her anti-social ways prevent her from searching for more of her kind or interacting with them if she runs across them.
Reasoning: Anti-social to protect herself from others, arrogant attitude to protect herself from weakness, music for a focused distraction, plays with her food to keep her mind off exactly what it is she's doing (she feels guilty when they fight back and most often lets them go), hates romance because her betrayal, likes Batman because he is the "perfect hero" in her eyes, likes Criss Angel because he breaks social norms, wanders because she constantly gets in trouble with the police (and because of the reports from her food that she lets go)
Other: She often bites her own wrist when she's frustrated. She rarely speaks when in a social situation due to her deep-seeded trust issues with vampires (and people in general) and also because she still has a bit of her French accent, not because she is being rude.
